K-12 Assessment Development
CAE has led or been involved in major test development and item writing projects in the K-12 space. This includes work for testing companies on state assessment projects, for the nartional consortia (PARCC and Smarter Balanced), and for the NYC Department of Education. In addition to various discipline-specific projects, including ELA, Math, Science, and Social Studies, CAE has extensive experience with innovative alternative assessments and English-language learner assessments.
