In 2012, CAE modified CLA and CWRA, now called CLA+ and CWRA+, to provide results that are valid and reliable at the individual student as well as the institutional level. Results can be used for evidence-based policy decisions, including issues of validity, motivation, and attainment. For lists of research on reliability, validity, and evidence-based policy decision, see Key Publications on the Reliability and Validity of CLA/+ and CWRA/+ 2005 - Present and CLA+ for the U.S. and International Settings and Support for Using CLA+ in Evidence-based Policy Decisions.
